7. It Suggests The DCEU May Improve In The Future
Here's everything the DCEU has been building up to in its short lifetime: the Justice League movie. In other words, the Avengers equivalent - the superhero team's first outing.
All the CGI overkill, misguided creative decisions, rushed universe-building and frustrating moments of wasted potential has been building up towards this movie. But hey, when it counted - in 2017 with both Wonder Woman and this film - they got it together.
The tonal issues have been more or less corrected, a likeable cast of characters has been put together and the franchise has finally learnt to be fun. Sure, this isn't up to Marvel's standards, but things are actually looking positive.
With the big team-up out of the way and several solo movies now on the cards, it's also a chance for the producers to slow down and flesh out the cinematic universe a bit more, and with a tighter focus, the large amounts of potential with these characters and plots can finally be realized properly.
