Project Cadmus is an organization that deals mainly in genetic engineering and has a particular interest in the superhuman community, going so far to create the clone of Superman who became Superboy. Funny enough, they are not really villains in the comics but adapted this way in several other media, most notably the cartoon series Justice League Unlimited and Young Justice. In the former cartoon, Cadmus is led by Amanda Waller, who does everything she can to ensure Cadmus is humanitys line of defence should the Justice League ever go rogue, even if it means allying itself with the likes of Lex Luthor and others like him. This could be a very intriguing organisation to exploit in Justice League if not in Batman vs. Superman itself, since the government and military are still unsure of Supermans loyalties by the end of Man of Steel. Obviously, the arrival of even more super powered beings would do nothing to quell their apprehension. Surely the government would need something to protect itself against a growing potential threat? Whether they would create Cadmus or another organisation, the possibilities of this villainous, if misguided, force would be absolutely great to see and a chance to bring Waller or even Maxwell Lord to the big screen.
