By this point, Ray Fisher was being pestered with interview requests and fans on social media demanding to know what was going on. During an Instagram Live Q&A, he addressed the elephant in the room, and explained why he hadn't fully opened up about his accusations.

"I am still very much under contract, and I am still very much under non-disclosure agreement," Fisher explained. "So, I've gotta be very careful about what I say and how I say it. Otherwise I could get sued into oblivion." Despite that, he did later reveal one issue he encountered working on Justice League.

Despite that, Fisher wasn't backing down, pointing out on Twitter that, "I understand full well the personal and professional risks associated with my speaking out against the abhorrent behaviour of Joss Whedon and his enablers—Geoff Johns and Jon Berg."

At the virtual Justice Con event, Fisher elaborated on that point, stating: "[If] anything I said about [Joss Whedon] is untrue, I invite him wholeheartedly to sue me for libel, to sue me for slander."
