Justice League: 10 Things You Need To Know About Ray Fisher's Battle With Warner Bros.

7. Ray Fisher Reveals One Issue That "Shocked" Zack Snyder

In response to a Variety story about Black crew members in the hair and makeup departments receiving the support they deserve from studios, Fisher explained that his barber Wayne Nembhard was not credited on his work on Justice League despite working on the movie for eight months of principal photography and most of the reshoots.

He noted that Nembhard was the only Black man to be hired in that capacity, and said it broke his heart not to be credited. Fisher would later add that, "Zack [Snyder] was shocked that Wayne wasn’t credited in the theatrical version and assured me that Wayne would absolutely be given credit in Zack Snyder’s Justice League."

Is it possible Fisher's request that his barber be credited was ignored for a larger reason? It certainly sounded like that could be the case, and as Fisher himself said, "It’s not just about a movie. These things go deeper than artistic aesthetic." It's certainly a huge oversight on the studio's part, and a surprising one given the fact Cyborg is a lead character.
