Justice League: 10 Ways Joker Could Factor Into The Snyder Cut

3. Taking Advantage Of The Chaos In Gotham City

With a scant runtime of two hours, Justice League was a simplistic blockbuster that kept the action pretty contained. The team did spend some time in Gotham City, of course, hence why J.K. Simmons was able to make a memorable cameo appearance as Commissioner Jim Gordon.

It's at this point Zack Snyder could have Batman spend a little more time with his ally in the Gotham City Police Department, learning that The Joker is on the loose again and taking advantage of the fear which has been caused by Steppenwolf and the Parademons attacking Earth.

This diversion could see the Dark Knight tracking down his greatest foe, giving fans the battle they so desperately want, while also giving them a glimpse of what The Batman might have looked like. That movie isn't going to happen now, so devoting ten or fifteen minutes of The Snyder Cut to a diversion like this would be no bad thing.

Heck, if Batman is able to put The Joker back in Arkham Asylum, perhaps it could later be revealed that he's the one who orchestrated Lex Luthor's escape?
