Justice League: 10 Ways Warner Bros. Can Continue The Franchise After The Snyder Cut
8. Let Zack Snyder Make His Sequel
This would be very unexpected, but should Justice League: The Snyder Cut bring tonnes of subscribers to HBO Max, then it's possible - albeit, not very - that Warner Bros. could just let Zack Snyder make the sequel he always planned to. There are a list of potential problems here, of course, including the challenges which would come with bringing back the A-List cast.
Then again, with Ben Affleck unexpectedly returning as Batman for The Flash, there's a chance even he could be convinced to suit up again! The main challenge for the studio would be to set a budget and make Snyder stick to it, and there could be no four-hour cut this time.
Despite negative reviews, Justice League was a modest hit with over $650 million at the worldwide box office. Assuming The Snyder Cut is well-received and generates enough interest - there are plenty of ways Warner Bros. can monetise its release overseas - then a modestly budgeted follow-up could very easily prove to be a box office hit (and it could even be set in its own corner of the Multiverse).
