10. There Were Space-Set Sequences

The film would have been big on set-pieces, according to Gonzalez, and we would have got to see some intergalactic action with one sequence showcasing Green Lantern John Stewart and Hawkman aboard a space-station nightclub (!) as they attempted to stop Lantern villain Kanjar Ro from helping Desaad weaponise the stolen Kryptonite.

It would have been great to see Lantern action - and also to have had Hawkman involved - but the setting of an outer space nightclub sounds a little too Fifth Element for comfort. But then maybe a dab of Guardians Of The Galaxy-style sci-fi might have gone down well?
