Justice League: 13 Complaints Everyone Will (Probably) Have

9. Too Much CGI

This has been a criticism of every single DCEU film to date, even Wonder Woman, that they make excessive use of CGI over practical effects where possible, with an over-abundance of blurry, visually garish digital action that looks incredibly ugly.

It's safe to say that Justice League is going to be filled with CGI, as is plainly obvious from the trailers: Cyborg's suit is entirely a visual effect, the Parademons seems to be totally digital creations for the most part, and CiarĂ¡n Hinds' performance as Steppenwolf is being achieved through motion capture (not to be confused with performance capture, which would also capture facial expressions).

The trailers already suggest a mix of good and bad CGI, and while it'll surely look a little better for the end product, it's still hard to believe people won't be complaining about the film's overall digital excess.
