8. Superman Is Barely In It

The biggest mystery surrounding the film is unquestionably the role of Superman, who of course died in Batman v Superman and was resurrected at the end.

The rumours point to Superman returning in a black suit with a beard and possibly even a mullet, but as for the size of his role? It's harder to gauge.

On one hand, it's tough to believe that Warner Bros. would sign off on Superman being entirely absent until act three, but at the same time, bringing him back half-an-hour into the movie would complete deflate any import his "death" would have.

Either way, it doesn't seem likely that Supes is going to have heaps of screen time, which will naturally leave his fans bemoaning his limited role, even if it's in the service of actually selling his kinda-demise and no doubt setting up Justice League 2 and/or Man of Steel 2.
