16. Aquaman's Look

Though Jason Momoa's Aquaman looks significantly different to the blonde-haired, orangey-gold wearing version from the comics, there are lots of nods in there to his classic look. His belt has been faithfully recreated for Momoa's costume, and the general look of his armour is a more muted adaptation for Snyder's world.

But there are also other nods - the five point trident might have confused some, but it's the version Curry wields in the New 52 universe. And his long hair and shaggy beard are in reference to Peter David's version of the character...

And as an Easter Egg-like reference to Jason Momoa's heritage, his tattoos are in the Polynesian cultural tradition, as the actor wanted to include symbolism to his heritage.
