Justice League: 8 Big Changes It Will Bring To The DCEU

6. Introducing The Multiverse

It seems early to be tampering with the Multiverse, but that stunning image of Batman against a red sky in the trailer can mean only one thing.

We already know The Flash's 2020 solo outing will tackle the Flashpoint event, so this suggests the concept of infinite Earths will indeed be tabled in Justice League.

We've already seen Barry Allen shattering the time barrier, complete with cool glacial effects, and this is no doubt how Justice League will connect with Flashpoint.

Perhaps the League is defeated by Steppenwolf and his minions in the final battle, forcing The Flash to run faster than he has ever run before, smashing through to the past to urge his teammates to alter their tactics.

By establishing this power as part of the speedster's repertoire, that confusing Flash cameo in Batman V Superman might finally make sense, two years later.

It could also mean that the events of Justice League will leave the DCEU timeline drastcially altered.
