Justice League: 9 Biggest Mistakes It's Already Made

1. Botched Attempts At Humour

Justice League Jokes
Warner Bros.

Batman v Superman's downbeat overtones didn't go down well, so Zack Snyder and co. are trying something different this time, seemingly forgetting that DC has always been rubbish at humour.

The Flash delivers more wisecracks in the Justice League trailers than every Man of Steel and Batman v Superman character combined, and the result is a tonal clash with the movie's misery-laden predecessor.

And then there's lines like "Arthur Curry, I hear you talk to fish."

Was that supposed to be Batman's attempt at a joke? Should the Dark Knight even crack jokes? Probably not fish gags.

The humour flows freely and naturally in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Justice League's banter-filled trailers come across like an awkward and ill-advised attempt to emulate it.
