Justice League Comic-Con Trailer: 8 Ups And 2 Downs
5. The Flash Brings Welcome Bantz
Marvel has always done playful, inter-hero banter well, while DC has not (although that "it's a watch gag" in Wonder Woman is brilliant).
Batman v Superman's moody tone didn't sit well with everyone, and it's clear that Warner Bros wants to rectify this with Justice League, but it came across as awkward in the previous trailer and teaser footage.
Things have improved somewhat after the Comic-Con trailer as The Flash is full of quips and wisecracks that hit the mark.
Barry Allen's wit appears to be powered by the Speed Force as that scene where he calls his teammates "rude" for disappearing on Commissioner Gordon is a great piece of comic relief.
The Scarlet Speedster's lack of confidence in his own combat capabilities is also a source of amusement, but let's hope they don't overdo it in the final cut, as any Flash fan will tell you he's more than just a joker in the pack.
