Justice League: Every Character Ranked From Worst To Best

4. Batman

It's hard to deny that Ben Affleck's performance as Batman feels like a bit of an anti-climax here after he turned in such great work in Batman v Superman, all that nasty murder business notwithstanding.

The attempt to make Batman into a cheerier character is only semi-successful, and overall Affleck just seems a little less fussed this time, even if he still fills out the Caped Crusader's suit wonderfully. Bat-fans might be wishing he actually did a little more in the epic set-pieces, though.

It's not a classic turn for Batman, but it certainly makes him less serious and dour, even if it might be hard for fans to get particularly invested in this iteration of the character with the persistent rumours of Affleck's apparently imminent departure.

Affleck did fine all things considered, but the passion and ferocity didn't quite feel there.
