This is not the Johnny Depp that prances about as Jack Sparrow in his spare time. This is not Tim Burton's Johnny Depp. This is still-on-the-rise, naturalistic, pretty boy Johnny Depp. He had the sensitive look, and judging by his performance in The Nick of Time, he could easily play the naive, determined Superman that the 90s were hopefully aching for (considering all the Superman projects that got started and died). Depp teamed with Pitt could have made for some pretty interesting dynamics, and in retrospect, this entire cast would be incredibly interesting to watch butt heads. But what do you think? Who would you have liked to see take on the roles if Justice League was made in the 90s?
Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
