Justice League: Has Joss Whedon Cut Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor Completely?
No more weird,

If you're one of the presumably small amount of people who wants to see more of Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor in Justice League - a movie he was previously quite publicly announced for - you're out of luck.
That's because - according to Batman On Film at least - Eisenberg’s megalomaniac enfant terrible has been taken out of the movie, despite the tease that he and Steppenwolf were working together in the deleted scene from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:
“He doesn’t have one. If he did prior to all the changes/reshoots, it was cut.”
If this really does prove to be correct, it would seemingly mark a change of narrative direction after Warner Bros confirmed Eisenberg's return previously. Could that have been a decision based on the reception to the early cut - which was rather hyperbolically called "unwatchable" by an unnamed source? Could this have been one of the moves Joss Whedon introduced to change the tone of the movie?
Maybe it's just confirmation that Warner Bros know that Eisenberg's performance didn't go down too well in Dawn Of Justice.
