9. Moon Maiden
Moon Maiden's origin story (and only appearance in comics) is more like a Twilight Zone episode. Without melting your brain with the arduous plot summary, it boils down to this: Moon Maiden is a long time JLA member who some super baddie erased from existence and thus everyone's memory. But she returns when the bad guys return, and the JLA get talked into remembering her, and then the story ends with her moping around because the rest of Earth doesn't remember (or care). The one cool thing about Moon Maiden is her super power. Through being able to control the bad guys' moon base (told you it was arduous), she can control the moon's gravitational pull... What? Wait, you created a character who could control gravity, even create isolated pockets of gravitational influence to fly and kill/maim/stop anyone, and you called her Moon Maiden? Considering the huge ramifications in squeezing her in any future JLA movies, like incredibly OP powers (take that, Supes), maybe she should just stay forgotten.
