Justice League Movie: 10 Ways It Could Be Better Than The Avengers

3. A Better Villain?

I€™m not as well versed on the Marvel Universe as I am DC, but surely, there could have been a better villain than Loki? Essentially, the main worry in Avengers was the Chitauri invasion force; without them, Loki would have gone down quicker than a sack of potatoes, and because they we€™re essentially a faceless mass of inter-dimensional henchmen, they were essentially a plot device, as opposed to a story element. Story wise, Loki was the antagonist, and I couldn€™t help but feel that Whedon could have chosen better. We€™re not sure yet who or what the source of antagonism will be in the Justice League movie, but Will Beall certainly has his pick. You€™ve got Darkseid (who€™s one of my personal favourites), a galactic God whose power matches (maybe even exceeds) Superman€™s; Lex Luthor, another villain who€™s already established in our consciousness; Ra€™s al Ghul, again, already established; or maybe even Doomsday, the monster that essentially kills Superman. Again, we€™re not certain yet which villain we€™ll be looking at, but in my honest opinion, it wouldn€™t be difficult to pick one who€™s better than Loki, and if Warner Bros. are successful here, we could be looking at one more reason the Justice League movie comes out on top.
