Justice League Movie: 5 Reasons Why It'll Be Better Than The Avengers

4. TV Turnover

If we were to go even deeper into the fan base for these two different super hero teams, Justice League has even more of an edge. DC has had more successful live action TV shows of their properties than Marvel. (Let€™s forget about Birds Of Prey.) Not to mention the closest thing to a live action Justice League actually being featured in the later seasons of the awesome super hero show, Smallville. And that was freakin€™ brilliant, with a storyline even involving the Justice Society of America€ but that€™s another feature for another time.

With another Justice League member is currently enjoying a run on TV with his own series in Arrow, there€™s an even bigger exposure to the JLA crew. Besides the animated shows on the Disney Channel, The Avengers didn€™t have much recognition from an existing TV only audience prior to the movie itself.

So, if we follow that logic, given the exposure of these DC Characters, and more notably, what Geoff Johns was able to do with Smallville near the later seasons of the Series, a JLA movie should be able to capitalize on more of a TV audience than The Avengers movie ever did.
