Justice League Movie: 5 Reasons Why It'll Be Better Than The Avengers

3. It€™s The Frugal Thing To Do

Marvel had to do 5 solo hero films, (1 was a sequel) introducing certain characters, before The Avengers could happen. Which meant 5 times the budget, 5 times the risk of failure and 5 opportunities for interest in The Avengers to be watered down by a bad solo movie. (See: Iron Man 2 debacle.)

Warner Bros. doesn€™t need to go through all that. Considering their biggest characters are already known to the world, they can avoid any solo introductory movies. Everybody and their grandma knows about Superman€™s origins and that Jack Nicholson killed Batman€™s mom & dad. So there€™s no need to €˜introduce them€™ from scratch, even if the cast changes. And so far news seems likely that Warner Bros. will be following the opposite model of The Avengers, by starting off with the team movie, then spinning off into solo hero films.

It€™s also safe to assume that with Christopher Nolan €˜godfathering€™ the current Man Of Steel movie, that world will be drenched in the same realism that Nolan captured in his Batman Franchise. Thus making it easier to bridge the gap of stylistic differences in a future Justice League movie. Not to mention that rumored Wonder Woman cameo in Man Of Steel, which, if it happens, will introduce and set the stage for her in a JLA film too.

A Justice League film where these 3 heavy hitters are already introduced, while other characters like Flash, Green Lantern & Green Arrow being weaved into the story, would be a fresh take and not necessarily re-treading the same model of The Avengers. Most importantly though, going this route ends up being more economical for Warner Bros. as they don€™t have to worry about spending time and money setting up individual hero films for a bigger pay out down the line.
