The DCEU has been trapped in something of a vicious cycle so far: incredible marketing gets fans hype as Hell, then the movie comes out and disappoints most of them, and they vow to never be suckered in by another gorgeous trailer again.

Then the trailer for the next movie drops, and begrudgingly, fans can't help but admit they're ridiculously excited once more. Even with the series' track record so far, Warner Bros. marketing department clearly deserves a raise, because these trailers penetrate through to the lizard brain, foregoing typical moviegoer logic and reason.
