Justice League Trailer Reactions: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

1. Aquaman

It's still almost unthinkable to acknowledge that Aquaman would end up being the most hyped character to come in to the DCEU, given the reaction he typically inspires as a character.

All credit has to go to Zack Snyder for the way the character has been reimagined. He's not just the guy who talks to fish anymore, he's an anarchic, rock and roll superhero punk with swagger and an almost Wolverine-like spirit.

The trailer makes him look like the Justice League's battlefield MVP, and it would be foolish to ignore that they've basically taken all of the elements that made Jason Momoa's Khal Drogo so memorable in Game Of Thrones and melded them to the traditional model for Aquaman. If it turns out to be even remotely as successful as it already looks, a lot of people are going to have to re-evaluate who their favourite movie superhero is.
