Justice League Vs. The Avengers: Which Is Better?

11. Narrative

Again, not a particularly strong suit for either movie. The Avengers is focused more on its characters than fashioning a particularly memorable story, which basically amounts to "stop Loki handing Earth to Thanos".

Justice League takes a similar approach, spending most of its time introducing the new characters and setting up the team, while also overloading the viewer with heaps of exposition. Again, the story isn't much more nuanced than stopping the Big Bad from ruining Earth.

Winner: Both are pretty yawn-worthy, but The Avengers is better laid-out, and was lucky enough to arrive at a time when these sorts of world-ending plots hadn't yet outstayed their welcome.
