Justice League Vs. The Avengers: Which Is Better?

10. Supporting Cast

Here's where things get a little tougher. Superhero ensemble movie always command huge casts, typically allowing a ton of talented name actors to fill out smaller supporting parts for easy paychecks.

The Avengers makes solid use of Samuel L. Jackson, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders in particular, while Justice League's most memorable supporting players include Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, J.K. Simmons, Joe Morton, Amber Heard and Billy Crudup.

Winner: In both cases the supporting cast members are heavily sidelined, and though it's abundantly clear that Justice League has had numerous subplots trimmed down, it still benefits more from having so many fantastic actors in the periphery, whereas The Avengers wasn't quite so reliant.

Neither movie makes especially fantastic use of their talented peripheral cast members, but through sheer star-studded appeal, Justice League wins out.
