7. Dormammu
Time and time again, we're shown that few things that happen in the MCU are left to chance. When Doctor Strange introduced Dormammu and the Dark Dimension, they didn't just grab a bad guy out of a hat.
Just like Red Skull, we haven't seen the last of Dormammu.
Doctor Strange was able to keep Dormammu at bay in the Dark Dimension, but with the Time Stone destroyed, surely he’s soon to return. Fingers crossed that we get a Dormammu appearance similar to his cameo in Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
Should Baron Mordo be the one to finally release him, even better.
If Dormammu comes out of the Dark Dimension, he shouldn't arrive alone. He doesn't need to feud with Doctor Strange exclusively, either. With Blade, Moon Knight, and Ghost Rider on the way, Dormammu and the Dark Dimension provide an easy way to introduce characters like Blackheart into the MCU.
