LEGO Batman Movie: 75 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See
42. Batman: The Animated Series
Barbara Gordon's speech includes some images celebrating Batman but lambasting him for not cleaning up Gotham. She shows slides paying homage toThe Dark Knight Returns, The Mask of the Phantasm, The Animated Series, the Lewis Wilson serials and Detective Comics #27 all of which are remade in LEGO.
There are actually number of other references to the beloved Batman: The Animated Series, including the appearance of Harley Quinn, who made her debut in the animation, as well as the idiotic Condiment King who appears as something of a joke in the run-down of c-list villains at the start...
41. Dick's Costume
After he's accidentally adopted, we get to see more of Dick Grayson, particularly when Alfred lets him wander into the Bat Cave. The outfit he wears during this sequence - red jumper, white shirt and blue slacks - is one of the most commonly worn by Dick Grayson on the 60s show and in the comics.
40. The Movie Batmobiles
As Dick walks through the Bat-Cave, Batman's vehicles all appear to show off on plinths, revealing that among them are the 1989 original Batmobile, the Tumbler from Batman Begins and the Schumacher version.
And of course the Bat sub's there as well, which has actually appeared a couple of times in the comics.
