LEGO Batman Movie: 75 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See
39. Bat Shark Repellent
One of the Bat-gadgets that most impresses Dick is the Bat-Shark Repellent that Batman himself proclaims to be useless. It obviously has its uses, as shown when it fights off Jaws later in the film, but it's obviously a mythology nod to the ridiculous appearance and use of it in the Batman 1966 movie.
38. Superman's Doorbell
When Batman and Robin go to the Fortress Of Solitude to retrieve the Phantom Zone Projector (a creation that first appeared in Superman: The Animated Series), Bats presses the doorbell to be greeted with John Williams' iconic Superman theme tune.
37. Happy Birthday Justice League
The party that Batman interrupts in the Fortress has a banner in the background reading The 57th Anniversary of the JLA. That refers back to the first appearance of the group, who debuted in 1960 in The Brave And The Bold #28 in March that year.
