8. The Reavers

The Reavers are an interesting group: they look great, with their cyborg-like augmentations and hulking physiques, but in reality they're very possibly the worst set of mercenaries in the history of film. The great contradiction in their backstory is that we're supposed to believe that they were capable of bringing in mutants for experimentation when they can't shoot in a straight line, can't fight terrified kids and are generally wholly incompetent.

But at least they play the part of satisfying cannon fodder well: unlike, say, the Chitauri in The Avengers they're a malignant enough presence - as an extension of Donald Pierce - to make their demise actually feel good. And achieving that without much dialogue is actually quite impressive.

Just don't expect to remember a single line or act they're responsible for.
