1. It Doesn't Look Much Like Old Man Logan

Old Man Logan is a bizarre story and the lack of most of the Marvel characters always meant that this film would be a very loose interpretation. So far though this looks so loose that the only similarities appear to be the landscapes and the trench coat Logan briefly wears.

Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but Old Man Logan features such dark and twisted spins on so many popular characters that readers are sure to be a bit downhearted that we won't be getting a version of that here. We were never going to get an incestuous family of Hulks, but it does seem strange that they haven't used other characters at their disposal to take their place and give them a slightly more marketable backstory.

The trailer still gives the impression of what looks to be an interesting take on the Wolverine mythos, but perhaps it would have been smarter to never mention the Old Man Logan inspiration in the first place and let the film speak for itself.
