Logan Trailer: 6 Ups & 5 Downs From Wolverine 3 Teaser

6. The Film Looks Fantastic

One thing you cannot fault this trailer on is how it looks. From the enchanting shot of light cascading through forest trees, to the typically anti-heroic view of Logan boozing down by the graveyard, director James Mangold has certainly made a pretty looking beast.

The constant contrast between the dry, almost orange earth against the beaming blue skies gives a bleak-yet-beautiful Western flavour to the landscapes that is a delight to behold. Epic wide shots give way to close ups of a very grizzled looking Wolverine and with each shot there is so much rich detail for us to explore.

Mangold has proven with The Wolverine that he can make a good looking comic book movie, but with Logan he has clearly tapped into the stark visuals he merely teased beforehand.

Logan could well be the best looking X-Men film of them all.
