London Film Festival 2015: The 10 Films You Need To See

7. 11 Minutes

The Pitch: The same eleven minutes are shown over and over from different perspectives, including a street vendor, a seedy film director and a dog (yes, a dog) in Jerzy Skolimowski€™s Official Competition entry. Why You Should Be Excited: There's something deliriously tantalising about high-concept movies with various characters bumping into each other to eventually tell the full story. What makes 11 Minutes sound so unique is how off-kilter it appears - the various participants are far from your average passers-by, while Skolimowski€™s a director who's made a name for himself challenging convention. The Buzz: The film has screened at both Venice and Toronto, and while it hasn't received as much hype as some of those festivals' other releases (possibly due to the lack of attached distributor, what has been said has been pretty positive. Could it be London where 11 Minutes becomes highly regarded? When's It Released? TBA
