The entire look of Nux and the War Boys looks suspiciously similar to Scrooloose's inexplicably odd character design in Beyond Thunderdome.

Does that mean that when Scrooloose is seen leading his own branch of the new tribe at the end of Beyond Thunderdome after Aunty Entity is vanquished that he actually had a significant impact on a future generation?

Alternatively of course, the similarities could mean that Scrooloose himself actually started life before Thunderdome as a War Pup, marked to follow the same path as Nux. There has to be some reason why a character would look so similar in a movie universe populated by individuals of such diverse aesthetics and where everyone who isn't a captive of some sort is defined so much by personal indicators (including in their vehicles).
