4. Blaze Comics - Booster Gold In The Future
While Zod and Superman were fighting in Man Of Steel, another eye-catching company logo was visible in the background: Blaze Comics, an in-universe comic book publisher. This is a fairly blatant nod towards Booster Gold, a futuristic time-travelling superhero within the DC Universe, who is a constant source of inspiration for the writers at Blaze Comics. Put simply, you dont include Blaze Comics without intending it as a nod towards Booster Gold. The comics they produce about this showboating superhero are considered Blaze Comics flagship series. This Man Of Steel moment, then, could be interpreted as a foreshadowing Easter Egg pre-empting Booster Golds addition to the DC Extended Universe film franchise. A Booster Gold film hasnt been officially announced yet, but it has been suggested multiple times in the press that DC Entertainment are developing one under shrouds of behind-the-scenes secrecy. If that rumour becomes true, this background Easter Egg will start looking a lot like a huge secret-spilling tease.
