Man Of Steel: 12 Questions Left By The Stupidest Superman Ever

10. When Did Clark Kent Go To Forger's College?

Clark Kent There were a lot of flashbacks in Man Of Steel, and as I said earlier, they were probably the best part of the film, particularly because of Kevin Costner's exceptional performance as Pa Kent. It's something of a shame that Snyder decided not to play the flashbacks in chronological order, leading up to the death of Jonathan Kent, because that would surely have added greater emotional weight to what was arguably the most crucial scene of the film. Anyway, I may be wrong, but at no stage during those flashbacks do I remember any mention of Clark Kent spending some time under the tutelage of the kind of forging expert who would allow him to falsify documents in such a way as to trick the American military into employing him. After all, say what you want about the military, they're pretty hot on security, so the idea that Kent could just "blend in" with false documents and social security seems somewhat frivolously overlooked. Obviously, this is not a major detail, but Goyer decided to include reference to it, as if to draw attention, so he invited the criticism.
