Marvel: 10 Most Underused Technologies In The MCU
8. Iron Man Armour
In Iron Man 2, the U.S. Government tries to seize the Iron Man armour technology from Mr. Stark but end up unsuccessful. While the movie leads you to support Tony, as he's the hero of the story, one has to wonder why he is so opposed to offering up this technology in any form.
One can see that rationale behind not wanting the government to have his repulsor hand-blasters but what about letting the paralyzed walk again. We've seen how much this tech helped Rhodey, "War Machine" after his legs were injured in Captain America: Civil War but Tony only thinks to use it for this purpose after one of his close personal friends needs it.
Yet another example of Iron Man only helping people with his tech when it directly benefits him and his image.
Even if he would just donate the bullet-proof armour, he could protect every police officer in the country. Most likely, Iron Man doesn't trust anyone but himself to regulate this tech and make sure it doesn't put too much power in the hands of the government. He wants to be the one who controls the suits of armour (as we see with the Iron Legion and the creation of Ultron).
