8. The Soul Stone Is The Odin Force

The Rumour:

According to ScreenRant, the Soul Stone - the final Infinity Stone yet to be revealed in the MCU - is hiding in plain sight. Just as the other Stones have been revealed to be powering other things (the Aether, the Tesseract, the Eye Of Agamotto...), the Soul Stone has been misrepresented somewhat as the OdinForce, Odin's God-like power set.

Their suggestion says that Hela was previously in control of it (hence the link between souls - which feed the Soul Gem in comic lore, and Hela being the Goddess of Death), and Odin took it off her, using it as a force for good.

It's a very compelling idea.

Previously, it was suggested that Heimdall had the Soul Stone, and was using it to power his gift for seeing the entire multiverse, but this idea fits far better and would explain precisely how Odin ends up depowered (and probably dead), when he's otherwise considered a god.
