6. Giant-Man Reappears - Ant-Man & The Wasp

The Rumour:

A source close to ComicBookMovie sent them footage from the set of Ant-Man and The Wasp that seems to suggest that Giant-Man will make his return in the sequel.

The description of the scene reads of follows:

"So flatbed truck rolls down the street and stops... And you'll notice that there's no one in the actual truck. It's being driven by a man in the back, disguised as a seat (who must feel very silly). Which, of course, means someone or something will be added in in post. Maybe it's just a normal character who they'll shoot on green screen, and he wasn't there just for security purposes. Or maybe it's a weird CGI man. Or something else. The possibilities are endless." "And you'll also notice that it raises up slightly after stopping,"

As an added hint:

"And the man with the megaphone was telling the extras, "Look at it! What is it? It's 25 feet tall!" So my guess here is that someone is driving down the street with a massive CGI thing, (maybe using Giant Man tech?) and that thing steps off the bed of the truck, which makes it lift up."

We've already heard suggestions that Giant-Man returns - not least from Peyton Reed who wanted to unveil Scott Lang's other alter-ego first but was over-ruled when Civil War got the chance - and this does seem to fit.

There's an alternative of course - that one of the new villains steals Lang and Hank Pym's technology and uses it to create monstrous things that Ant-Man/Giant-Man and The Wasp have to battle... That'd be an intriguing alternative.
