6. It's Exploring A New Part Of The MCU

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been expanding since Nick Fury first popped up in Iron Man's post-credit scene, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. We've been taken to the vastness of space, New York's dark underbelly in the Netflix shows, and back in time to WWII - but one area we haven't yet been allowed to explore is one that Doctor Strange will revel in; magic, and inter-dimensional travel.

It's a big, big step, because it opens all kinds of possibilities that could shake this universe to its very core. Could we see an alternate dimension where Tony Stark never became Iron Man, or where the Avengers lost the battle of New York? Could we see a reality where Thanos has destroyed the Earth and left our heroes in tatters? Could Doctor Strange be Marvel's way of continuing the MCU with the same characters, by just recasting them and calling it 'another dimension'? Who knows!

The possibilities are literally endless, and the level of depth that Doctor Strange could end up bringing to the table is astounding. Alternate dimensions are essentially an invitation to do whatever the hell you want, and this new facet of Marvel's cinematic universe could end up being one that changes it forevermore.

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
