Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 Brainless Superhero Mistakes (That Got People Killed)

1. Dropping A Bomb To Stop A Bomb (The Incredible Hulk)

Hulkabom Well, you just knew the Hulk was not only going to show up on this list multiple times, but also take the top three spots. "Brainless" and "getting people killed" is pretty much your itinerary in a typical day in the life of Bruce Banner when he goes zero days without an incident. Problem is, Bruce Banner is a pretty smart guy when he's not the Hulk€”yet when the Abomination is tearing through Harlem, his best idea is to drop out of a plane smack dab into the middle of it and Hulk out to fight him. While it certainly can be argued that the Hulk is the only one capable of stopping the Abomination, sending him blindly in there when Banner isn't in full (or any) control of the Hulk surely costs countless lives. The Hulk made no effort to jump out of the city and get the Abomination to follow him someplace where there were no innocent bystanders or even military personnel to get killed. Instead of one superhuman being wreaking unbelievable havoc in the middle of a crowded city, now there were two. One would think the military could have lured the Abomination out of the city with the bait of Banner before unleashing the Hulk...but then again, "government intelligence" has been the world's biggest oxymoron for decades. Thus endeth my first post for What Culture...go ahead and let me have it in the comment section. The world hates a coward!

A What Culture writer since October 2013, I write about whatever interests me at the moment, which usually involves comics, sports, films, television, sci-fi, video games, and current events. Mostly I write as a stress release; it's cheaper than drinking and keeps me out of trouble. Most of the time, anyway.
