1. Loki Thinking He Could Talk Down Hulk - (The Avengers)

Amidst the final battle of the Avengers movie, Hulk finds himself face to face with Loki, after the god of mischief is blasted on to the top floor of Stark Tower by Hawkeye's exploding arrow. Hulk smashes Loki in to a wall, then roars and approaches him with aggressive intent, at which point the Asgardian villain begins a speech about how wonderful he is and how Hulk shouldn't lay a finger on him. Loki says "enough! You are all of you beneath me. I am a god, you dull creature, and I will not be bullied..." Hulk then proceeds to smash Loki off the floor several times before muttering "puny god" and wandering off calmly like a real badass. For Loki to think he could simply tell Hulk - a being of unrivalled rage - to calm down with his words was incredibly dumb and naive. So there you have it; fifteen assumptions made by Asgardians in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that seem to confirm they're generally quite dumb.
