2. Killian Has Fin Fang Foom Tattoos

Following a slight visual nod earlier, here's a more prominent featuring of Fin Fang Foom; Killian's tattoos, witnessed when he goes shirtless in the final battle, appear to be depicting the monster. With the character (subtly) worked in as a mythical part of the MCU in Iron Man 3, there's now some scope to having it appear in a later film (the first film appeared to nix that idea).

1. A Cheeky Post-Credits Scene

The first (but not the last) case of Marvel trolling the audience with the post-credits scene, it's revealed Tony has been narrating the whole movie to new BFF Bruce Banner, a sly nod to director Shane Black's previous film, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Given how Iron Man 3 was trying to be a little less lore-heavy in comparison to The Avengers, this makes some sense, but it still feels like wasted potential.
