Marvel Cinematic Universe: Definitive Guide To Easter Eggs, In-Jokes And Foreshadowing

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

8. The Falcon Suit Made By Stark Industries

Stark Industries tech litters the MCU, with seemingly regular machines coming from the mind of Tony. That's even true of the Falcon wingsuit; it was developed by Stark Industries (probably before Tony changed the company's direction in the first Iron Man). It isn't actually visible in any part of the film (at least as far as we can see), but according to EW, who visited the film's set, the Stark logo was embossed on some part of the Falcon wingsuit.

7. President Targeted

Project Insight really pulls no punches - one of the people it's targeting is Matthew Ellis, President of the United States. After everything he went through in Iron Man 3, it's clear he can't get a break.

6. Tony Stark Targeted

Also targeted by the Helicarriers is Iron Man himself, Tony Stark, in Stark/Avengers Towers. Robert Downey, Jr. even makes a visual cameo, his portrait briefly flashing by as Project Insight locks onto New York.

5. Crossbones

After being caught in the collapse of the Triskellion, Brock Rumlow is left seriously injured, although very much alive, ready to come back against Cap and Falcon with a vengeance. The straps meeting on his chest in an X clearly foreshadow him taking on the character's Crossbones identity in the Captain America: Civil War. Good thing too; he's pretty important in that arc's aftermath (he's involved in the death of Captain America).
