4. Jessica Jones: Season 3

Captain Marvel Thanos Avengers Endgame
Netflix

The third season of Jessica Jones marked the end of the Netflix chapter of the MCU, and while it didn't hit the sort of fantastic highs that the third season of Daredevil reached last year, it still served as a solid wrap-up for the series. And considering how shows like Iron Fist and Luke Cage left off with their doors wide open for a future that will likely never come, having a proper ending for Jessica was something fans needed.

That said, Season 3 never managed to climb out of the stellar first season's shadow, though fortunately it did overcome feeling like the slog that Season 2 often tended to be. Krysten Ritter turned in a great performance as usual, and series newcomer Jeremy Bobb delivered a pretty solid, scene-stealing performance as the slippery Gregory Salinger.

Unfortunately, not everything worked - for instance, Trish Walker's divisive arc could be considered a bold choice or a complete and utter character assassination - and the season began to feel its 13-episode length with the usual diversions into meandering stories like Jeri Hogarth's love life. But little things like appearances by Luke Cage or a last minute vocal cameo from Kilgrave, to bigger picture moments like Hogarth finally getting what was coming to her or Jessica accepting her future as a hero all added up to send the character - and the corner of the MCU she inhabited - out on a solid note, even if we may never see any of it again.
