3. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Season 6
The penultimate season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. may not have lived up to the highs of, say, seasons two or four - and there's a case to be made for the show having wrapped up pretty nicely with season five - but Season 6 was still wildly enjoyable. In many ways, if the first five seasons were the show's main course, then Season 6 really felt like dessert, an added bonus that's hard not to enjoy simply because these characters are so fun to spend time with.
Compared to major villains like Grant Ward, Aida, or Graviton, Izel wasn't that stellar, but the mystery surrounding Sarge, where he'd come from, and why he looked like the late Phil Coulson was a solid drive for the season. Along the way, we got great moments and episodes like Simmons and Daisy's drug trip in "Fear and Loathing on the Planet of Kitson" or the FitzSimmons-focused "Inescapable," which served as a showcase for the always great Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge.
Supporting characters like Enoch got to shine, we lost Agent Davis, and even gained an LMD Coulson, a few of many things that kept the season propulsive and busy. Of course, the season's dodging of the Decimation has raised many questions about the timeline, but with the year leaving off with our characters thrown back decades into the past, it's hard not to be excited about what's in store for the final season, how (if at all) it'll address the events of Infinity War/Endgame, and - more importantly - whether it'll stick the landing and bring the MCU's first show to a satisfying close.
