Marvel Cinematic Universe: Ranking Every 2015 Project From Worst To Best

5. Agent Carter (Season 1)

After following her initial appearance in Captain America: The First Avenger with turns in her own One-Shot, a pair of episodes in the first half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s second season, and The Winter Soldier, Peggy Carter finally got to shine all on her own in the first season of her very own show. Removed by decades from all the modern events of the MCU, the show didn't have superheroes flying around to save the day, planting its lead firmly in a man's world. Even without superpowers of her own, Peggy proved time and again to be more capable than those around her, carving out her own wonderful place in the MCU that will be returning for its second season in just a matter of weeks. Even with characters like Jarvis, Howard Stark, Dottie, Dum Dum Dugan, and Doctor Faustus in the mix, Hayley Atwell never let the show lose sight of how awesome Peggy is, with the actress fleshing her out into, perhaps, the best female character in the MCU. And clearly those at Marvel know how valuable an asset she is, as she also went on to make welcome cameos in Age of Ultron and Ant-Man later in the year.
