Marvel Phase 3: 15 Outrageous Predictions That Could Change Everything
12. Abomination Runs Wild - Avengers: Infinity War
The Prediction
After some of his initial attempts to pluck the Infinity Stones from their sanctuaries on Earth, Asgard, Knowhere and Xandar fail thanks to The Avengers, Thanos looks to boost his Black Order forces by turning to some of their surviving enemies.
He could recruit Zemo and Red Skull (assuming he can be brought back), but the best hire he could make would probably be The Abomination, who we know almost returned for Age Of Ultron.
The Implications
Tim Roth's Abomination was a great part of the mess that was The Incredible Hulk, and he deserves the second chance to shine that he was almost given by Joss Whedon previously.
He would also be an integral part to drawing Hulk back into the fight, as there's no saying that Bruce Banner will give up his retirement (which he chose to stop himself becoming a weapon, remember) for Thanos alone. Imagine Blomsky using Betty Ross to draw Hulk out for his own personal revenge... It would make a hugely compelling sub-plot to Infinity War.
