8. Spider-Man (2017) - Kraven The Hunter
Okay, Marvels recent agreement with Sony to finally FINALLY pull their most popular character of all time into the MCU has met with lots of very excited eyebrow-wiggling on the part of fanboys the world over. The fact that this latest reboot appears to be giving us a teenaged Spider-Man for the very first time has met with accompanying hand gestures of approval, and you cant say fairer than that. Theyve even cast Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, who is most certainly not the traditional sweet little white-haired old lady of the comics. Sooo what about a villain for Spideys inaugural Marvel romp? I reckon that, at least initially, theyll probably want to shy away from villains weve seen in the previous Sony iterations of the character. So no Doctor Octopus, no Green Goblin... no Lizard, Sandman or Venom... why not go for Kraven the Hunter? A modern version of the character could be an interesting addition to the MCU, and a potential threat to Daredevil in a future season of his Netflix show. As for casting, I like Gerard Butler as the deranged alpha male. Hes got intense physicality down pat, and hed look good in the moustache. And hey, give us a little Daredevil cameo too... maybe with an extra bit of Wilson Fisk, to boot. Its New York, right? Why the hell not?
