3. Quentin Quire
Have you ever wondered what you would get if one of those Percy Jackson and Harry Potter chosen one types were completely aware of their special-ness and took absolute unending pleasure in it? Sounds like the most obnoxious, insufferable piece of sh*t on the face of the Earth, right? Indeed it does, and indeed Quentin "Kid Omega" Quire is. And god bless him.
Quentin is the most powerful psychic among the mutant population, and one of the most powerful psychics in the Marvel universe as a whole next to Jean Grey. And Quentin is not what one would call "modest" about this, seeing as how he is completely and totally aware of it. Instead he is the most arrogant little pissant about it, making him into a really good foil for Wolverine.
Any adaptation that wants to do the character justice will have to be okay with the audience DESPISING him for much of the story until he completes his character arc. It would take a deft hand and a really skilled screenwriter, but completely worth it if it could be pulled off.
