MCU: 10 Behind The Scenes Feuds Marvel Studios Doesn't Want You To Know

When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. launched in 2013, Marvel Studios was forced to play nice with Marvel Television, hence why those early seasons tied into what was happening in the movies. However, Captain America: The Winter Soldier showed a total disregard for the series when S.H.I.E.L.D. was disbanded, and the show became increasingly standalone in nature from that point on.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast has always chosen their words carefully when it comes to its relationship to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but producers have since listed a number of ideas they were stopped from using over the years by Marvel Studios brass.

Chloe Bennet finally had enough, asking at a convention, "People who make movies for Marvel, why don’t you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don’t you guys go ask them that? Cause they don’t seem to care!" She later added, "The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all."

Clearly, the actress isn't a fan of the way Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. became the unwanted runt of the MCU litter (it certainly didn't help with the ratings), and is unlikely to return as Quake in a future movie.
