MCU: 10 Biggest Reveals From D23

Kevin Feige laid out the plans for the entirety of Phase Five in Hall H back in July, but there was one Disney+ series already confirmed that was conspicuously absent. Armor Wars has been on the cards for some time, but was finally given time on the stage at D23.

This came in the form of the incredibly popular Don Cheadle, who has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2010, longer than most. It’s exciting to think that Rhodey will finally be given the spotlight.

The series, as suggested by the actor himself, will hit many of the beats laid down by the original story in the source material, of course tweaked within the realms of the MCU. In the wake of Tony Stark’s death, it will be up to Rhodey to track down rogue Stark tech in what will surely be an entertaining story.

Alongside Rhodey’s appearance in Secret Invasion, it was confirmed that the series would lead directly into Armor Wars, and though no other cast or details have been confirmed, the MCU fandom can certainly come together and agree that this has to be the time to bring back Sam Rockwell’s Justin Hammer, and potentially even Sharon Carter's Power Broker.
